[1] GROUP DATABASE PROJECT:  You will be working in a group of three or four on a real world database. You and your group will present a plan to design, create and implement a database. The group will also be required to actually install the proposed database using ACCESS software. The project requires proper and adequate documentation. The group will be required to produce adequate materials (documentation and computer files) and a written report all on diskette.  For detailed instructions, click here.

[2] EMERGING TECHNOLOGY PAPER:  You will be assigned an emerging technology to research. You will write a minimum 3 page report on the effects this technology has (or will have) on DBMS. The same report will be presented orally to the class. The reports will be compiled for those who want a copy for future.  The paper must be turned in both in printed form and on a diskette.
