Orientation, discuss highlights of first 7 chapters in book, videos and Internet material. Also, discuss class project (turn in one-page proposal for on-the-spot approval,)  answer specific questions from each class participant. 
April 21 to

May 18

Use Internet for researching topics being written about in class project. Study chapters 8-16 from videos, Internet and text material.
Saturday 
May 18
Class meets from 8:00 to 12:00 in Keller Hall, R110 . Discuss class projects, discuss class videos and text material over chapters 8-16, answer specific questions from each participant. 
May 19 to

June 22

Use Internet for researching topics being written about in class project. Study chapters 17-20 from videos, Internet and text material. Finish writing class project.
Saturday, 

June 22

Class meets from 8:00 to 12:00 in Keller Hall, R110 . Discuss class videos and text material over chapters 17-20, answer specific questions from each participant. Each student makes informal 10 minute presentation to the class on their project. Completed (typewritten) projects are handed in for grading. Take 50 minute exam over material covered in class.
