Served as Chairman of Search Committee to select new Football Coach (1976)

Served as Chairman of Faculty Senate Committee on "Promotion for Persons not Holding Doctoral Degrees" (1976)

Served on Interfraternity Scholarship Committee (1976)

Served on  the "Advanced Institutional Development Committee" (1976)

Served on Committee to study "School of Business Secretarial Needs" (1976)

Served on Committee to study "School of Business MBA Comprehensive Exams" (1976)

Served on Faculty-Senate Committee to develop policy on outside activities of faculty members (1976)

OTHER UNIVERSITY SERVICE

Has constructed (and currently maintains) five award-winning, multi-page educational web sites for UNA classes on three separate ISP servers since 1992.

Works closely with Placement Center to help UNA graduates get jobs, and has met with more than one-hundred companies in this endeavor over the years.

Regularly participates in seminars and workshops sponsored by the University on topics that include:

Regularly meets with high school groups to recruit students.

Serves as an advertising judge on occasions for the Alabama Association of Distributive Education.

Serves as a frequent speaker at University and civic functions such as football banquets, graduation awards, club meetings, and civic organizations.
