This Geography Contract
has been designed as a tool for students of Alabama History to learn more
about the state through a variety of interesting lessons.
It consists of 30 activities
that are based on the National Geography Standards and Alabama Social Studies
Course of Study. The lessons span the 6 learning levels of
Bloom’s Taxonomy, incorporate multiple learning styles according to Howard
Gardner, and integrate multiple curricular areas including language arts,
math, science, social studies and the arts, as well.
