My first class, Harlan Elementary fifth grade, 1981-82 . It is hard to believe that these "kids" are now adults, many raising children of their own. Three students from my first class are presently teaching.

My last class, Harlan Elementary fifth grade, 1987-88 . It was tough to tell them goodbye. Three students from my last class are presently teaching. Ironically, I taught several of my former 5th grade students again at UNA as juniors and seniors majoring in elementary education.
