My father, Paul Risner. Dad retired in 1988 as a Vice-president
of Nel/Bran Glass Company, a firm he helped start in the mid-1960s.
Dad also served on the Board of Directors of Circle S Industries
(Selma), the parent company of several subsidiaries in the Southeast.

My mother, Joanne. Her various talents include music, teaching,
and health/fitness. She would have been a terrific elementary teacher!

My Grandfather Gilbert in my favorite picture. He was an ironworker
and construction worker for most of his life while earning a few
dollars boxing on the weekends. His greatest achievement came after
his retirement from Reynolds when he earned his G.E.D. I wish he
could have lived long enough to see what I am doing now.

My Grandmother Gilbert. This picture was made one year before she
died at age 84. She had an incredible memory and an avid interest
in history and politics. She would have loved the Internet!
