Wife Tammy, married December 19, 1982. Tammy has worked most of her life as a secretary/receptionist. She worked as Dr. Charles Womack's receptionist and office manager for 7 years, Huffaker and Watkins Accounting Firm for 7 years as the secretary/receptionist, where she utilized her computer skills to type tax returns. In 1990, she began a career in the Florence City School System as secretary for Burrell-Slater Area Career-Technological School, a job she truly loved. I still see former high-school students who inquire about "Mrs. Risner." In 1994, she began the most difficult and prestigious career of all: Serving as the manager of our home and assuming the role of "World's Greatest Mom." Additionally, she teaches music in the Wee School Program at Highland Baptist Church. Her interests include piano/music, decorating, and teaching (she is an awesome teacher !). Tammy is admired and loved by all. She is my best friend and hero!

Daughter Laney, age 7. Laney attends Kilby School. Instead of using a photo, Laney opted for this self-portrait. Her interests include dancing, swimming, reading, and visiting Steven's Hall with her Daddy. On Saturdays Laney enjoys drawing on the chalkboard in Room 417 while her dad sits in the desk and listens to the "teacher." What a great way to spend a Saturday morning!
