Counseling Services
University Health
Services provides the UNA
Student Assistance Program where
a Licensed Professional Counselor is available for assessment
of
needs/problems and short-term counseling with students. The Counselor is
available to help students develop coping skills for problems that
may be threatening their health, well-being, and/or school
performance. Participation is confidential, voluntary, and at
no charge for students who are actively enrolled in classes for the
semester during which they seek assistance.
Faculty
who are concerned about a student may call and speak with the
Counselor and to arrange a referral appointment.
The office of
the Student
Assistance Program Counselor is located in Bennett Infirmary and
students should call 765-4328 for an appointment.
