What is "Ask a
Librarian"?
"Ask a Librarian" is
a service that allows you to ask simple factual questions such
as you might ask in person at the Information Desk. Examples
include help with incomplete citations, location of an address,
a brief list of suggested sources for researching topics.
Responses are sent to you by e-mail.
Who may use the
"Ask a Librarian" service?
This service is open
to the students, faculty, and staff of the University of North
Alabama. Queries from others can only be answered if the
question relates specifically to UNA or to some unique resource
of Collier Library.
When can I expect
an answer?
During times when
the library is in session, answers or questions for
clarification are generally answered within 24 hours, Monday
through Friday. Questions submitted over a weekend will be
addressed on the following Monday.
