Off-campus students may choose to visit local libraries to conduct research. Many academic libraries provide open access to their catalogs, reference sources, periodical collections, and photocopy equipment. Many library catalogs are accessible through the library's web page (see Other Library Catalogs). Some colleges and universities supply community borrowing cards for a fee. Students are encouraged to contact their nearest libraries for more information.
