Guidelines:
A Reserve
Request card must be filled out completely for each reserve item and
turned in with the item at the Reserve Desk in Collier Library.
Allow 24
hours for processing before sending students to use reserve
materials.
For Virtual
Reserves please allow at least 48 hours.
If your
syllabus includes a list of reserve items, it is helpful to bring the
items at the beginning of the semester.
Reserve
requests without correct and complete source information will be
rejected.
Reserves are
mailed back via campus mail at the end of the semester unless they have
been marked for permanent reserve.
Mark items for Permanent Reserve only if they are intended

FAQ's
1.) If
I am using photocopies, how many should I make available?
Depending on class size and demand, usually two copies are sufficient.
If demand is large, we will use our discretion to determine if more
copies are necessary.
2.)
What type of reserve should I make my items?
Most
reserves work well as restricted reserves due to the fact that they
are more readily accessible and will be in high demand. Regular
reserves work well for smaller group sizes or less demanded items.
Virtual Reserves
- Virtual Reserves
