Collegiate Singers

A select group of singers, the Collegiate Singers is the premier choral ensemble on campus, which represents the University on tour every year. Recent tours have taken the choir to Mobile, New Orleans, Cincinnati, Chicago, Washington D.C., Texas, Orlando, and Atlanta. This group performs challenging concert literature, frequently with orchestra. Recently, they performed at the Alabama Music Educators Association Annual Convention to great acclaim. They have distinguished themselves as one of the best collegiate choirs in the region. Two elite groups are drawn from the ranks of the Collegiate Singers: the Chamber Choir and the Vocal Jazz Ensemble.
