Dr. Tom Ed Moore

Dr. Tom Ed Moore, Assistant Professor of Music, has served on the music faculty since 1991. His duties include theory, music history, Form and Analysis, Sacred Music, composition, organ and piano.
He has toured with the UNA Brass and Pipes Ensemble, the Collegiate Singers as well as being an organ recitalist throughout the South. He is also a published composer of church music.
Dr. Moore is involved in community theater in Florence and Huntsville. His credits include roles in I Do, I Do, Cole, Bells are Ringing, Torch Song Trilogy, The Miss Firecracker Pageant and numerous others. He has directed 42nd Street, Nunsense I, II and III, the Alabama premiere of Tallulah and Hattie at the Pearly Gate Café by Pamela Parker, Second Samuel and A Higher Place in Heaven also by Pamela Parker, and others.
He has conducted Albert Herring by Benjamin Britten, and The Marriage of Figaro and The Magic Flute by Mozart.
He has served as church organist in Tupelo, MS., and Madison, AL, and is currently Organist for Trinity Episcopal Church in Florence, AL
