Areas of Academic Concentration Within Sociology
The Department of Sociology offers the
following areas of academic concentration for students with specific interests
in gerontology and criminology. The areas of concentration are designed so
they can be completed as part of the normal progression through the electives
associated with the Sociology
major or minor. Completion of the concentration requirements will be noted
on academic transcripts.
Although we offer these
concentrations, they are not a graduation requirement. Please visit with your academic
advisor if you would like additional information about academic
concentrations.
