Spring Camp

There will be a three day mandatory camp for all new and returning members of the drumline Monday June 27th-Wednesday June 29th. The Schedule is as follows:
Monday, June 27th
11am: Registration (no fees)
12pm: Rehearsal
4:30pm: Dinner Break
6pm: Rehearsal
Tuesday, June 28th
8am: Breakfast
9am: Rehearsal
12:30pm: Lunch
2pm: Rehearsal
6pm: BBQ at Mr. Moyer's
Wednesday, June 29th
8am: Breakfast
9am: Rehearsal
12pm: Wrap up and Dismissal until
August

Percussion Instructor

Official Statement:
The University of North Alabama Band is proud to announce
the addition of our new assistant director of bands and Instructor of
Percussion, Mr. Iain Moyer. Mr. Moyer received his undergraduate degree
from UMass, his Masters degree from OU, and he his currently working towards
his doctorate at OU. He has studied with Thom Hannum and Richard Gipson, among others.
Mr. Moyer is currently on tour as Front Ensemble Instructor for the Madison Scouts.
He has served as Front Ensemble Instructor for Magic of Orlando and Glassmen, as well.
Mr. Moyer was a member of the Crossmen. He is a welcomed addition to the UNA music faculty.

The past 5 weeks the UNA Drumline has hosted rehearsals for high school students and incoming freshmen. The practices were very successful with a record number turning out. Here are some photos taken from two of the nights...Click Here!

Welcome! Today is the public release of the UNA Drumline website.
The purpose of this site is to serve as a link between the UNA Drumline, the public, and potential drumline members.
Being the first day, a tour
of the navigation bar is in order. The page you are at now will serve as
a place to get current news and announcements of events. The
Members page will take you to a page where you can view bios on the UNA
Drumline members. The Recruitment page displays information for
drummers interested in being on the UNA Drumline. Next, the Media
page, which contains picture galleries, audio clips, sheet music, and
videos. We strongly
encourage visitors to join our Forum, which
is the next item in the navigation. Here you can actually
communicate engage in conversation with UNA Drumline members.
Following the Forum is the Merchandise page. Here you can see
items for sale by the UNA Drumline and "Pride of Dixie"
Marching Band. Lastly is the Contact page. This page is a
directory of e-mail addresses and phone numbers for UNA, the Music
